Berlin, 23. September 2014 Am vergangenen Sonntag endete die 11. BERLINER LISTE. „Die Messe war äußerst erfolgreich, so der allgemeine Tenor, fast alle Galeristen und Künstler konnten ihre Kunst gut verkaufen und wichtige neue Kontakte knüpfen. Zudem wurde angemerkt, dass die BERLINER LISTE an Niveau und Qualität gewonnen hat“, sagt Kurator Dr. Peter Funken. „Die Entdeckermesse – diesmal in der eindrucksvollen Architektur des Postbahnhofs – war wieder eine Reise wert! Wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen und laden Sie jetzt schon ein zur 12. BERLINER LISTE im kommenden Herbst.“
Funken, der die Messe für zeitgenössische Kunst zum zweiten Mal kuratierte, setzte mit seiner Auswahl einen interessanten Akzent auf dem Berliner Kunstmarkt. Mit 112 Ausstellern aus 24 Ländern war die BERLINER LISTE die größte und internationalste der Berliner Kunstmessen und konnte mit knapp 11.000 Besuchern einen erneuten Besucherrekord verzeichnen.
„Unser traditioneller Mix aus internationalen Galerien und von einem unabhängigen Kurator ausgewählten Einzelkünstlern macht den Reiz der Entdeckermesse aus. Die Künstler konnten sich neben guten Verkäufen auch über Kontakte zu Galerien und Atelierbesuche von potenziellen Käufern freuen“, so Messedirektor Jörgen Golz. „Somit setzt die BERLINER LISTE ein wichtiges Zeichen für allein in Berlin mehr als 6500 freischaffende Künstler, denen wir einen professionellen, bezahlbaren Präsentationsrahmen bieten. Wir bedauern sehr, dass dieses erfolgreiche Konzept immer noch keinen Einzug in die Berlin Art Week gefunden hat.“
Die 12. BERLINER LISTE wird vom 17. – 20. September 2015 zur Berlin Art Week statt finden. Zum zweiten Mal wird es eine KÖLNER LISTE geben. Sie findet parallel zur Art Cologne vom 16. – 19. April 2015 statt. Weitere Städte sind geplant.

Berlin, September 23rd, 2014. The 11th BERLINER LISTE came to a close on Sunday evening. “The general mood and ambience at the fair was of success,” says curator Dr Peter Funken. “Almost all galleries and artists were able to sell artworks and make new industry contacts. Additionally, many remarked that the exhibition really has reached a new level in terms of quality. This fair of art discovery, held for the first time in the Postbahnhof, really was worth the trip. We’re looking forward to seeing you all again at the 12th BERLINER LISTE next autumn.”
Funken curated the show for the second year in a row, bringing an accent of fascination to the Berlin art scene. With 112 exhibitors from 24 countries, this is Berlin’s largest and longest established art fair – making a new personal record this year with nearly 11,000 visitors.
“Our traditional mix of international galleries and individual artists who are selected by an independent curator really distinguishes this fair. As well as selling their work, artists enjoy new gallery contacts and can look forward to studio visits from potential buyers,” says exhibition director Jörgen Golz. “The BERLINER LISTE is an important beacon for over 6,500 free artists in Berlin alone, whom we offer a professional and affordable platform on which to present their work. It’s just a shame the successful fair has yet to be incorporated into Berlin Art Week.”
The 12th BERLINER LISTE will take place from September 17th to 20th, 2015 as parallel to Berlin Art Week. The KÖLNER LISTE will open its doors for the second time alongside Art Cologne from April 16th to 19th next year – and further cities are planned.
