IMPORTANT NOTES
Warning to our exhibitors about dubious offers and fake providers
Exhibitors attending our fairs are repeatedly contacted by dubious providers who give the impression that they are associated with the Discovery Art Fair currently taking place or claim to have exhibitor or visitor data. These are emails or letters offering to sell alleged visitor or participant lists (“Visitors List / Attendees List”) or to register in unofficial exhibitor directories.
We would like to explicitly point out that these companies have no access to our exhibitor or visitor data and are not in any contractual or business relationship with Discovery Art Fair or our partners.
We do not sell exhibitor or visitor data, nor do we pass it on to third parties. The official exhibitor directories of Discovery Art Fair can only be found on our website and in our fair catalogs.
By using our name, logo, or event names, these companies imply an official affiliation or cooperation. They suggest free listings or simple data confirmations, while the actual costs and contract terms are only visible in the fine print. We recommend checking the sender of the email or letter. Official communications from Discovery Art Fair are sent exclusively from email addresses ending with @discoveryartfair.com.
For your reference, we have provided links to an example letter from International Fairs Directory and an email offering such an “attendees list”.
We advise against accepting such offers or confirming supposedly free listings. Corresponding letters or emails should be disregarded. If you are unsure about an offer or contact, please feel free to contact our team. We are available to assist you.
Further information and advice on dealing with such offers is available from AUMA – the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry: https://www.auma.de/en/exhibit/legal-matters/unofficial-exhibitor-directories/
