DISCOVER A TALENT sponsorship booths

The great response to our Discover a Talent initiatives in recent years has confirmed our approach. We believe that one of the core tasks of an art fair such as the Discovery Art Fair is to give young or unknown artists a chance to introduce themselves to the art market.

For this reason we added the sponsorship booths to our program last year. All galleries participating in this year’s Discovery Art Fair Frankfurt will propose an artist who is new to our fair. An independent jury will select five winners from these applications, who will each present their work in a free 10 sqm booth.

We are pleased to announce that this year’s jury once again consists of five members who are well known throughout Germany and beyond as professionals in the art market:

  • Silke Hohmann, art critic, journalist, editor of the art magazine Monopol
  • Bernd Kracke, art and media expert, former president of the HfG Offenbach
  • Gérard Goodrow, curator, author, former director of Art Cologne
  • Barbara von Stechow, gallery owner at Galerie Barbara von Stechow
  • Gregor Jansen, art historian, former director of the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf
