DISCOVER A TALENT sponsorship booths

The great response to our Discover a Talent initiatives in recent years has confirmed our approach. We believe that one of the core tasks of an art fair such as the Discovery Art Fair is to give young or unknown artists a chance to introduce themselves to the art market.

For this reason we added the sponsorship booths to our program two years ago. All galleries participating in this year’s Discovery Art Fair Frankfurt will propose an artist who is new to our fair. An independent jury will select five winners from these applications, who will each present their work in a free 10 sqm booth.

We are pleased to announce that this year’s jury once again consists of five members who are well known throughout Germany and beyond as professionals in the art market:

  • Silke Hohmann, art critic, journalist and editor at Monopol art magazine
  • Jörk Rothamel, art historian and gallery owner
  • Dr. Gregor Jansen, art historian and curator, former Director of Kunsthalle Düsseldorf
  • Raimund Stecker, art historian, former arts administrator, critical writer and passionate collector
